Disco Disco Disco !!

Wow what a weekend, It’s been awhile since I got to party that hard… Cherry Cola definatly tore the roof off that joint. Phizzle, the Coach and myself got to be in the same building and hold it down for all 3 of the83’s. Special thanks to all the83er’s out ther that came out and partied with us for Phizzle’s birthday. Im hoping that this summer see’s another rowdy party like that haha.. I’ve been on my download grind since I got back to Montreal and I’ve got a couple of gems for you… The first is a track called Disco Disco by Don Diablo, Ive got the original and the mowgli remix, also Trumpdisco with their hard electro banger LOTR (perfect for warming up on your set)

FakeBlood @ Foufs /w Cola

So I haven’t blogged in a minute, good thing the other 83’s held it down while I was either busy at work or away for the weekend ! Anyways, here to tell you guys that the83s will be at Foufounes Électriques this Friday June 19th for the FakeBlood gig! I was in London a year ago when I first heard of this guy and he’s ceased to amaze me ever since. On an up note, DJ Cherry Cola will be playing along with this cat all night long ! Don’t miss this people.

Homemade Fake Blood

1 c. Karo Syrup
1 Tbsp Water
2 Tbsp Red Food Coloring
1 tsp Yellow Food Coloring

Mix together in a mixing bowl and you’re done. Try adding blue or yellow for a different shade.

Cherry y’é juste trop fort. L’électro, le rock des années 70, n’importe quoi estie!! Il va le faire. On s’est rendu compte de ça hier les83s.com…On a déconné un peu, bu quelques bières, écouter du vieux rock sale, et en plus, on va parler de son nouveau mixtape qui te casse la face en 2 avant d’en refaire une plus belle version. C’est ça du Cola à la Cerise. Ça fait des bulles avec une saveur douce, comme les mix de Cola: ça fesse mais t’aimes ça.

A couple days ago we put together a little contest on the blog asking people to vote for their favorite “Comme à la télévision” remix. The main competition was between Hatchmatik and NROTB… Well folks sometimes it pays off having friends in the music industry.. Cherry Cola and The 83’s @ Ski Bromont

This Saturday, March 7th, the 83’s will be opening up for none then other DJ Cherry Cola at the Nuit Blanche in Bromont. The night starts at 7pm with skiing and the after party starts at 10 pm. Be there early because we were told that it’s going to be a full house :)

We also got the inside scoop that you might be able to spot Cherry Cola himself getting a few snowboard runs in before his set ! Be on the look out !
