As we kiss goodbye to 2009, it’s always good to remember the good times. We were a bit lazy here at the83s.com and we did not produce a Top 10 of anything for the last year. Thankfully, our good friend, Vengeance, produced himself a 30 minute mixtape of his favorite tracks for the last year.

La belle Florence, la machine et le garçon 8 bit…

Well, here is a more dramatic song than what we usually post. I don’t know, it lacks the proper drop to make it a perfect song, but I think it’s still a great track from Florence and the Machine, an indie British crew, remixed by Boy 8 Bit, another from UK-musical extraordinaire. I think I might move there only for the music…The single will be out September 7th.

Cherry y’é juste trop fort. L’électro, le rock des années 70, n’importe quoi estie!! Il va le faire. On s’est rendu compte de ça hier les83s.com…On a déconné un peu, bu quelques bières, écouter du vieux rock sale, et en plus, on va parler de son nouveau mixtape qui te casse la face en 2 avant d’en refaire une plus belle version. C’est ça du Cola à la Cerise. Ça fait des bulles avec une saveur douce, comme les mix de Cola: ça fesse mais t’aimes ça.

A week-end to remember… or not.

Hopefully this week-end will be one to remember ! The 83’s and some of our friends (JP, P’tit Lex and Frank the Tank) are going up north for some good times. (Food, drinks, outdoor activities and “depending how drunk we get” skiing). Undoubtably, we will need our Advil Liqui-Gels on sunday morning :) So in order to kick off the week-end on the right foot, I propose 100% by Chromeo, remixed by Treasure Fingers !!!
