After careful debating and some drinking, I think we’ve come down to this decision: DJ Low Bee’s “Smooth Holiday” is the most amazing mixtape to have come out in 2008. Yes it’s mid-March already, but for some reason (maybe lazyness, maybe because we were busy and just maybe because we never thought of doing an official “Best of” post this year), this week-end we pretty much established it was the best. For the younger kids out there (under 18), you might not enjoy this as much as we do, but this is CLASSIC music, all bundled together for your earing pleasure. It’s baby-making music at its finest. Proof: there are TWO…that’s two times…twice…Michael McDonald hits on this mixtape. We discovered it on one of our favorite blogs, fluo kids. Go visit them, they have exquisite taste. Enjoy carefully people.
